Knirps rates this game: 3/5Probably the second 'licensed' puzzle platformer I ever played.
The controls are average-low, resulting in frustrating gameplay at times.
The soundtrack is great for the first 20 mins and then you kinda never want to hear The Adam's Family theme song ever again.
The graphics are average for their time. The themes match the show with 'spooky' and 'creepy' being the main idea. I found my eyes going a bit fuzzy at times trying to focus to find the hidden or missed items in a room.
The gameplay is interesting for a while with all the creepy-fun surprises but quickly degrades into returning to the same screens over and over until it isn't fun anymore. I was unable to finish the game after playing for a couple of hours.
I think it's a great nostalgia play but there's nothing fulfilling or satisfying in terms of achievement past 'oh my gosh I finally got on the ledge it's a miracle'.
Bloodblade07 rates this game: 2/5This game isnt bad but its just boring. Well for me at least. You go around doing these riddles (really easy riddles) and you collect money on the way to where ever your going. You go to back, collect more gems and stuff.and then just keep repeating. I don't like it a lot, but maybe you guys will.
rbx4 rates this game: 3/5The Addams Family is an interesting slide-scrolling jumper that captures some of the charm of the property. It does help that the music in this game is their theme song. The action is sometimes frustrating because of the oddness of the controls and the unusual puzzles, but emulators make this game much more playable. Gameplay is mostly similar to Super Mario Bros. It is even more similar to Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt, but more interesting and more fun than that game.
