Blue Marlin, The (USA) ROM

Unlike Black Bass, or most fishing games for that matter, this game tosses the singular fishing line cast-and-bait gameplay for a boat with a drag lure instead. The baiting consists of riding the boat alongside pools of fish, trying to drag the lure in their faces. If you succeed, you're taken to a very basic reeling mechanic that, as far as I could tell, gives zero feedback about how or what you should do.

Sound is mediocre with some standard tunes drowned out by the sound of the boat engine revving.

Graphics are kinda lame everywhere but in the presence of the fabled Blue Marlin. The people on the beach/dock are AMAZING though and worth playing the game just to watch them dance with their noodle bodies. I don't know why I laughed so hard at them.

I did not enjoy playing this.
