Liberty or Death (USA) ROM

This game was one of the first historical sims my best friend and I ever played. The game is based on the War of 1812 and the rise to power of the American Colonies as a self governing state against British Imperialist rule. Naturaly it was a war game. You can play as the British or the Americans. My friend and I are Canadians so we always went with British, since they initially controlled the canadian east coast while the Americans started with the southern east coast. Americans have no problem getting support as it is their chief strenght in the game, however they always lack funds and are outgunned. The British on the other hand have superior firepower and equipment (cannons, navy), but are always struggling to find recruits. You will go nuts parading your troops for support of the bitter, overtaxed locals. I also remember the French sending the Americans money once in a while, like a old-fasioned Money-Gram. Enjoy and learn a bit of history while you're at it.
