Resident Evil II outdoes it's predecessor in almost every aspect. Infact, the game feels more like a Hollywood movie than something coming out of a videogame console. You play as Leon and Claire and as in the first title go around shooting monsters and solving puzzles. However, this time around, the differences between the two characters are pretty striking. If you start playing as Claire, you end up with a grenade launcher whereas if you play with Leon, you end up with a shotgun. The order in which you must solve puzzles is also different depending on your character choice.

Resident Evil II makes cinematic gameplay a reality. You shall definitely feel scared during some parts of the game and as the level of immersion is great, there are times that you feel that you are truly a part of the experience.

All in all, Capcom has outdone itself in this installment of the Resident Evil series. This title is definitely worth a look!
