If you've been loving the Arena since Project Phantasma on PS1, the you've come to the right place.

Armored Core - Formula Front (extreme battle) is nothing but Arena battles, with great elements of gameplay added.
You start with everything but secret parts unlocked so you can optimise all 5 of your available ACs, from treaded to hover to light. And you can create extensive AIs for each AC, like a fast AC that gets in close with a machine gun, or an extremely random, flying, sniping AC, or just an AC that does nothing but stand still and die. Not sure why anyone would make that last one, but the important thing is that you can.
You can also lose so bad that you get kicked off your own Formula Front team. Don't like the AI thing? You can still battle manually if you want.

Pros:

- It's a great way to waste time. Very fun.

Cons:

- It feels like an Armored Core minigame, and in fact it is, as it lacks a story mode.
